This 1-off ’65 Stratocaster Closet Classic from the Fender Custom Shop is superb! Just in on trade and in excellent conditon. No serious issues, wear or repairs. The Closet Classic features the light patina of a true vintage instrument that has been lovingly cared for and babied. There maybe a couple minor dings that are not stock, but you would never know as it’s lightly aged from the factory anyway. Like all our used / vintage gear it has been tested for functionality and priced to move! It sounds and plays great thanks to a number of custom options and upgrades. The body is Ash and this this baby resonates loud and clear acoustically thanks to a Hardtail bridge with strings through the body construction. The Custom Shop pickups include a Custom 69  in the neck position for clear, spakling and bell-like Hendrix tone. A Fat 50’s pickup in the middle is the perfect compliment with it’s top end sparkle and extra beefy mids. It’s also Reverse Wound / Reverse Polarity for hum cancelling operation in the 2 & 4 positions. A Texas Special bridge pickup is extra meaty and great for all that spanky, SRV inspired Texas Blues / Rock. The Large “C” profile neck is Quartersawn Maple with a Dark Rosewood fingerboard, a 12″ fingerboard radius and Medium Jumbo frets for excellent playability with a low action. Comes with case, accessories, certificate, etc… Sold as-is. What you see is what you get!
