Gibson Custom Shop 1958 Les Paul Standard Reissue
Used Vintage Reissue Electric Guitar
Flame Top in stunning Kindred Burst Fade
Used! Just in on trade!!! This 1958 Les Paul Standard from the Gibson Custom Shop delivers the tone, looks and feel of the original ’58, the first of the Gibson’s now infamous Sunburst models. It features hand-crafted beauty, authentic vintage Gibson tone and historic appointments plus historically accurate aniline dye and the renowned sound transference that comes with FULL HIDE GLUE construction. The most important details that made the original a legend are artfully revived for a convincing vintage playing experience. This particular piece is a beautiful color – referred to as “Kindred Burst Fade”. Originally built for Chicago Music Exchange. Comes with original case, certificate, paperwork and pickguard.
Professional refret and new bone nut for perfect tone and incredible playability. Cosmetically the guitar is in excellent condition without any serious issues, damage or repairs. Only some slight superficial marks from strings and minor buckle marks keep it from being “mint”. Great neck – Not too big – it has the “Carmelita” profile. Lightweight too! Only 8.6 lbs. Extremely resonant acoustically and succulent though an amp. Like all our used / vintage gear this has been tested for functionality and priced to move. Sold as-is. What you see is what you get.
