This used Gibson Les Paul Standard is a 2004 model and is just in on trade. It has a very Jimmy Page Signature Les Paul vibe to it with the uncovered bridge pickup. It also sounds fantastic thanks to a pair of Seymour Duncan humbucking pickups that were installed (Alnico II in the bridge, Pearly Gates in the neck). Other aftermarket changes include Grover Tuners, a metal jack plate (original is included) and Schaller strap buttons / strap locks.

Overall this used Gibson Les Paul Standard plays and sounds excellent. Never ever had any breaks or repairs, although it has been gigged and played and does show signs of cosmetic wear. Nothing serious- mostly some scuffs and dings here and there, buckle rash on the back, and some tiny dimples on the top where your wrist would rest, as well as by the knobs- possibly from someone wearing bracelets or other jewelry while playing. They are not through the finish and impossible to photograph- I’ve tried to get them from various angles to no avail. From 10 feet away this guitar looks a clean an sparkley as can be. But if you are expecting a factory fresh time capsule when you look under a microscope then you should probably move on. This would be an excellent choice for a player’s gigging / recording Les Paul

It’s been a while since I have had a Standard from this era through (mostly custom and historic Les Pauls around here) and I am not positive which neck profile is on this guitar. In the first position it feels slim like a 60’s guitar. But it does have some taper to it as you move up towards the body and it gets much chunkier- so I believe that this would actually be considered the 50’s neck.

Like all our used / vintage gear this Gibson Les Paul Standard has been checked for functionality and price to move. It’s being sold as-is. What you see is what you get.
