Used – Just in on trade! The Model 1996 is a vintage series reissue of the famed “Rose Morris” export version of the Rickenbacker Model 325. This particular model is well known as part of the Beatles gear arsenal and was once use by John Lennon. Originally, the 1996 was described as “a slim-line instrument with all of the features of model 1998 (340) but of smaller body dimensions.” Features of the Rose Morris 1996 / Model 325 include a 3/4 scale neck, Vintage Single Coil Toaster Top pickups, Accent vibrato and an “F-hole” that is faithful in size and placement to the original design. It is finished in Amber Fireglo and includes the original hardshell case, tremolo arm (in case), polishing cloth and some tags.

According to the serial number this guitar was built in 2014. It was purchased “new” from a Guitar Center only several months ago and just traded in to us by one of our regular clients. Like all our used / vintage gear this has been tested for functionality and priced to move. Sold as-is. What you see is what you get. As I mentioned earlier – the original trem bar is included in the case but may be hard to see in pictures as it’s in a plastic wrapping in the case picture. Only the slightest signs or use or wear. No serious issues, damage, repairs, etc… Still has the original pickguard sticker. Immaculate and oh so cool! A great size to play and enjoy.
